As a former premed student (just couldn't find a way to get through med school without taking biology), I've always been interested in all things medical. I also rarely buy a new brand of chewing gum without researching it online first (okay, so I'm not really THAT bad, but you get the idea). So a book that combined medical information and research seemed right up my alley-and it WAS!!! While some of the sites are outdated (like anything else on the web, health care information changes quickly), I found that the majority of the sites were current and easily accessible. The CD included with the book made it easy to visit the sites and bookmark them for future use. The book is divided into easy to use categories, such as dental care, mental health, etc., so it is easy to find what you need.
